Experience
All my working career I have spent working in Customer Service in one form or another. The job titles might be different, but the job description is almost identical ” Keeping Customers Satisfied”. I spent 15 happy years in The Irish Press Newspapers Limited until its closure in 1995. Initially as a Publicity Clerk and ending up as a District Manager in the South Dublin / North Wicklow area. It was during this time that Computers caught my interest, as the age of technology exploded onto our homes and offices.
Soon after that I got my first Job in IT – Herbst Computer Software in Wicklow town. At Herbst I specialised in Hardware support assembling custom built PC’s for Customers and upgrading existing PC’s belonging to clients. It was during my time at Herbst that I got to experience the real world problem solving of software support. Over the years I supported many of Herbst’s VIP clients including Snap Printing and Texoil.
In 2007 I started MarTech Computer Solutions. From small beginnings I found customers in niche markets, and established myself as the one stop shop for all their ICT needs. Supplying hardware, software, network configuration , IT Management and support services.
